Thin body design for multi-channel recording

The NMN-25 features a thin driving unit for multi-channel recording. In addition, the placement of knobs in one direction enables several manipulators to be installed and operated close together without interfering with each other. Use of an isolation table makes it easy to install multiple manipulators. The holder fixing section also has a sliding mechanism which provides up and down movement of an electrode and tension adjustment to hold it. Like the NMN-21, which was developed for patch clamping, this manual manipulator integrates coarse and fine movements, and employs a body design which absorbs vibrations. As a result, operation is precise and stable, free from concerns about drifting and electromagnetic disturbance

* For attachment to the microscope, a suitable mounting adaptor is required (sold separately)

* The micromanipulator can be mounted directly on the isolation table

* AP-13-3 Patch Clamp Headstage Holder (sold separately) can be attached to the dedicated universal joint included with the micromanipulator

* This model can be fixed on the ITS with magnetic NMN-25A Sliding Base (sold separately)

* Additional water hydraulic manipulator MHW-4 / MHW-4-1 is attachable with P-11 (sold separately). Placing the control unit at hand, the fine single-axis drive can be driven remotely at your fingertips, in the approaching direction

Setting example

By connecting the separately sold P-11 to the included holder unit, the one-axis water hydraulic micromanipulator MHW-4-1 (precision: 1 µm, 250 µm per rotation) can be attached. This allows vibration-free fine-drive control at the same angle as the electrode, and by rotating the control knob located away from the drive unit, it can be easily operated with fingertips

Option

Features of the Slide Base NMN-25A (sold separately)

The NMN-25 unit can be retracted by sliding backward to create space during microscope operations or sample handling.
